Measure a ring you already wear

Take a ring that fits the finger you have in mind and lay it flat. Measure straight across the inside of the band, from edge to edge, in millimetres. Match that number to the table.

A few things worth knowing

• Fingers are largest at the end of the day — measure then.
• Cold weather shrinks fingers. Don't measure on a cold morning.
• Wide bands sit tighter. Go one size up for anything above 6 mm wide.
• Between two sizes? Take the larger one.
• Your knuckle should let the ring pass with a little resistance.
